She could’ve talked and the husband seemed very nice as well, so he would’ve understood and compromised and changed as well.
I agree, she has such a selfish love. Even by logical thinking, couldn't she have done a much better solution like talking it out with her husband or be more open in expressing your feelings? It's not like the husband is a psycho who's obsessed with only music all his life, if that's the case then FL wouldn't have been born in the first place. And we can see that he also loves his family just as he loves music, all he needed was a little talk to make him notice that his wife was lonely and needed attention.
Plus, the third party was also at fault. Like, why would you even wedge yourself between a married couple who already has 2 children? Even if he has fallen in love, couldn't he have thought about breaking such a peaceful family will bring not only him, but also the wife, karma? This is what I don't get in Japanese manga/culture. "He/she needed me more so I'm sorry." Like????? What? That's beyond self-love. It's just plain selfish. They have such skewed views regarding relationships that I'm not surprised so many Japanese women would prefer not dating Japanese men and vise versa. Cheating is so prevalent that so many don't even bother with official relationships. I can't explain it in words but the culture divide is so wide that moments like this just don't make much sense.
Understand what you're saying, but you can't generalize a whole nation of people. The Japanese people I talk to know it is a problem, however, they don't like cheating themselves and surround themselves with people who feel the same. Cheaters are going to rationalize why they cheat regardless of their nationality or ethnicity, hence my friend and his ex, or my cousin, or my friend's mom.
