I think he is upset because he heard byul is supposed to be back with his ex-girlfriend and it's hurt because he has an unrequired love for byul
if he does like byul then why does he act like that? yeah, maybe sum happened in their past

I think he doesn't want to go to school because he doesn't want to see byul and hear about him... also siwoo is considered a bad guy between his classmates and they are always gossiping about him so i guess that makes him feel upset/unconfortable to be there too
