Im not I just seen everyones questions so ill answer them now
It appears so as they all are technically playable characters, tho if I remember correctly we have yet to see the whiny prince's tape (unless he fr is the only npc, but thatd seem odd and inconsistent so until otherwise Im assuming he does in fact have one). I believe Bada is technically the only one without since he's the protagonist of the game essentially, so his memory loss may be his biggest and only drawback similar to the ML of Dead Man Switch if you've read that. Tho ML of that story forgets after being reset like 80+ times (read the story for more info) so ye.
So the tapes are comparable to a checkpoint of saved data in a game. (I was gonna use Outlast as a comparison but to be frank I only watched my friend play and I think you have to actually beat the game in one go....sooo, more Final Fantasy 7.) (fyi im answering these based on pure memory cause I don't feel like looking for the exact eps simce theyre pretty long which is AWESOME but tedious). The way they work if Im remembering correctly is that once your tape is inserted so long as its playing, then you too are "playing" aka a playable character. You stop it just to save the checkpoints, but then continue again so you don't lose saved data aka your memory
Hey so I completely forgor since Badas tape hasn't been seen since the first like 10 eps or some shit but he does in fact have one so everyone should to my deduction. When I initially answered I was only thinking about AFTER Doha forgetting prior so yea. He does have one
I mean Im not entirely sure since ep 50 isnt out yet lmao I just know up to this point. However, I deduce that Yongtaeks and Seungho (may have spelled wrong im sorry) probably look similar as a gimmick if that makes sense. There may be a SLIGHT difference but to be sneaky I think Seungho did that purposely for whatever reason as weve seen he really cant be trusted. But it would explain why he's an NPC rn cause his tape hasn't been inserted and or playing in the eps
Followup: Seungchans tape is in Badas possession as we checked, so upon reading other comments, Yongtaek and well everyone may have two tapes, and if so, that may be why he can't remember the mine because it was stopped and never replayed. HOWEVER, that makes Seungchan even more suspicious, and while some people detect Doha which I mean isnt COMPLETELY off the table, I still think someone is scheming between those two SPECIFICALLY cause of some inconsistencies in Dohas sporadic behaviour, but also cause we established Seungchan is a sneaky hoe so
