I'm pretty sure the brother killed his dad. So, the author is setting up the relationship to thrive after the news, instead of failing. Idk. Thats my guess. He also has an intense relationship with his guilt. Being there to support his kid, might be helping his trauma. They aren't even real, idk why I'm getting so psychoanalytic
you're telling me ML is already aware right that he allegedly killed MC's Dad right? Isn't the normal reaction to avoid the son? especially since he's been feeling guilty about it?? I feel like if I was the ML every time I see the son, I would be reminded of that incident UNLESS I know I was not the perpetrator but still if it was traumatizing... is it just me tho? Something feels off not that I didn't like it but..
