The emperor is obsessed with the fl, which is his own kind of love. He sort of learns to pay attention to how the fl is feeling(whether she loves him, is afraid, etc). The fl loves him but is also afraid of him. There’s no love triangle, the fl and knight are both reincarnators trying to get home.
