The water splahed hard hin Dan's face. Dan is unconscious, so high chance he drank that water through his mouth and nose. That's why JJK wasn't affected. His face is wet but he's conscious enough to "close" any access points. (●'◡'●)ﾉ
Sorry, but I don’t buy that explanation. Even if that splash from the wave was able to get water to go into his nose or mouth enough to cause an issue, his body would’ve had an immediate involuntary reaction to get him to expel it (coughing). This would’ve happened whether he was sleepwalking or not. The whole scene was just unrealistic.
You also have to remember he's intoxicated and sleep deprived. An already double whammy. That could've also contributed. Also a hit in the face...by waves is NOT a joke ! Its bad, especially if it's strong. But to each their own.
They were in waist deep water. KD was never submerged. Why is he getting mouth to mouth? Why isn’t he breathing? This is stupid.
