So the gun was on display....

But why the hell would you display up a loaded gun? It could also kill yourself with just a wrong fall it could trigger and shot you.

Anyway, it is slowly coming out. The truths.

I mean they’re not wrong though there’s a reason you shouldn’t display loaded guns. It’s a delicate mechanical system with explosive material inside, if a loaded gun drops it can absolutely misfire provided the safety’s off.

inertia discharge is REALLY unlikely, even if a gun is poorly made or old (>30 yrs).

lets assume the safety is off and the gun DOES go off (again which is extremely unlikely): inertia discharge only happens if the gun is struck with a force parallel to the firing pin’s channel, and the bullet usually hits what the muzzle fell on (which in this case would probably be the floor). so if it did somehow fire, the chance of it hitting an actual person is low, but not zero. HOWEVER:

thankfully, most if not all semi automatic guns have one if not multiple passive safety mechanisms, one of which will always be a pin lock, which prevents the gun from firing unless the trigger is pulled. guns have had pin locks since the early 1900s, so again there is no possible way the gun in this manhwa could fire on accident. thanks for the input tho!

Ehem. I don't want to explain but...

That's why I said a wrong fall, even the chance of it is 0.1 percent, falling and hitting something that pull its trigger off and killing a person, it is still not safe. And that's the point.

as i said it is basically impossible for the gun to go off.. you do realize that doing everyday stuff like driving on the highway, swimming, cooking, using electrical appliances, etc is more dangerous right? are you gonna start telling people to stop using their cars? LMAOOOO
