It is a bloody back story. It started of as like a typical arrange marriage turned into love but the MC betrayed the ML because of his father. ML got the Mc’s back even after Mc’s father betrayed and framed him up for the embezzlement case. Then the Mc’s father launched a product similar to his husband’s because of the info he leaked to his father. ML felt betrayed but he asked the Mc countless of times to tell him the truth, that it was his father who asked him of that but the Mc didn’t say anything. The ML felt betrayed, he even told himself that he would believe the Mc even if it was all a lie but the MC didn’t give him any excuse and he felt that the MC never really love him like he did. So out of revenge, the ML tortured the MC both emotionally and physically. Though the MC had sex with the ML with consent it was done without any love nor affection and that what hurt the MC the most. But one day the ML’s brother went to MC’s house and found him in heat. The brother thought that the ML gifted his husband to his brother so he r@ped him. The MC thought what the ML’s brother said was true ran out of their house. The ML went after the MC and after 3 days found him. The ML thought the MC had an affair with his brother and MC provoked him and said he wanted a divorce (yes, they were married in the first timeline) the ML couldn’t accept it so he too r@ped the MC and marked him. After the marking the bounded pair will share both the emotions and memories and that’s when the ML finally figured out that the MC never betrayed him. That the Mc’s love was genuine from the start. That the MC endured everything because he loves him and was just guilty of betraying him. The ML also saw through his husband’s memories how his brother r@ped him. He took the MC home again and never face him out of guilt for everything wrong he had done to him. The MC fall into a depression and the ML only sees him when he’s asleep. Then a month pass and the MC. Was found pregnant. The MC doesn’t know who the father of the child is and couldn’t bare the thought of carrying the child of his perpetrator so in the middle of the night he went to Ido’s study and took the gun. The ML saw him holding the gun and tried to stop him but the MC only smiled at him and told him “You take care now Mr. Idl.” And shot himself. MC died and the ML spent months withering away in the study because he couldn’t accept his husband’s death and then with the same gun he shot himself too. When he opened his eyes he’s back to the time when MC’s father was proposing for the wedding. He then promised to himself to make sure that the MC will be happy in this time before he will kill himself. This is the reason why this time there’s no wedding only engagement and this is also the reason why the ML always draws the line. He believes he can’t give the MC the happiness he deserves nor the ML deserves to be happy after all the pain he had caused the MC in the first timeline. Don’t worry they both found their happy ending in each other’s arms.

2nd timeline, after the funeral the ML will break off the engagement. MC will go to ML (lots of drama will happen) both of them did their second bonding. MC regained all his memories of the first timeline (like I said once bonded they will share emotions and memories) all the emotions and memories came back to MC. So he asked for a space. MC moved out of the house and ML couldn’t bare to be far from MC proposed a 3 weeks project in which the ML promised the MC to completely let him go after the 3rd week. 3 weeks passed (a lot will happen in 3 weeks but will cut it short for the summary.) and MC found it in his heart to forgive the ML and start over again. (MC loves the ML too much to be able to let go of the past and start over again.) So he waited for the ML to come but he found the ML in the parking lot. There the ML told
The MC that he will now finally will let go of the MC (More drama here.) then the MC finally realized that the ML plans to take his life after their conversation. The ML said that the MC can only be completely free from him if he’s dead but the MC asked the ML if what he think will he do once Ido is dead? ML couldn’t answer so MC said “if you followed me to my death after I died, don’t you think I wouldn’t do the same? It is only hard for those who were left.” The ML cried and knelt, the MC asked to move their conversation in a nearby restaurant. He gave the ML a perfume he made during the 3 weeks. Then he asked who was the baby’s father. Ido answered that he was the father. The MC smiled. Ido smell the perfume and was sad because the scent was the same as his pheromones. He said that MC was cruel to not
Even gifted him a scent the same as the MC’s pheromones. Since he can’t kill himself now the only thing he can think of making him sane was the MC’s perfume scent. But the MC said that in the past 3 weeks the only thing he can think of is the ML as for his pheromones he will give it to him as much as he wants. The ML was taken aback so the MC continued. He said “I have been married and engaged before, do you want to be in a relationship with me?” The ML only cried in response. So they basically got together here. Then I think months or a year pass (not sure, it has been a very long time since I read this.) the ML and MC decided to get married but the ML is still plagued with nightmares and guilt of what he did. The MC noticed it so he asked the ML for a date. They went back to the restaurant where they got together and went to the Han river. Then MC asked the ML to go see a psychiatrist like him. He also asked the ML to free himself of the past and move forward with him. He said to forget the memories of their past life because “beyond that memories” they are happy.


That’s the ending, yep no babies but we can assume they will have in the future once both of them are fully healed. The ending is very serving and for me one of the best and not forced. We all know both had beem traumatized by their wrong decisions in the first timeline so to force a baby in the picture is not so right specially when both are just healing together in the arms of each other.


There will be a sequel well more like a prequel or both because Ido will try to find the MC’s biological parents.

Yes we are near with the revelation about the first timeline. The whole story of how the two of them fell inlove, the betrayal, misunderstandings that eventually lead to their deaths. I’m assuming that will take a couple of chapters too because in the novel it took quite chapters to finish the back story of the first timeline. I just don’t know how they will execute it here in the webtoon. But I’m waiting for the 3 weeks part. I want to read that part because it really made me cry reading it in the novel specially when Ido was begging. I really can feel his pain and the trauma he had when losing the very person he loves.

I will lie if I say I didn’t get angry with him with what he has done but after reading his POV in the second timeline you’ll get the weight of his guilt and how he blamed himself for causing the death of the person he loves so much. It came to the point that even at the end of the story he still can’t let go and forgive himself. That’s when I realized Ido doesn’t deserve our hate as a reader because he himself hates his self. He can’t forgive himself and that’s the kind of burden he has been carrying. He believes that he doesn’t deserve to be happy even after Sei-jin willingly gave him his heart and happiness again.
