So the Bottom and Top is polar opposite,
At the beginning of the story:
Bottom is like a sunshine, while top is gloomy
The bottom takes care of the top until he gave in to the bottom and eventually become less gloomy person.
But, as the story progresses, the bottom became more gloomy due to circumstances and the top take care of him.
So basically they are polar opposite at the beginning, but they also change as the story progresses.
