Given that she's only doing all this because she wants to protect Jeoffrey, her beloved son... which is reasonable, regardless, I DON'T CARE... The fact that she killed a horse, that obviously not at fault, is just crazy to me. What happened was an accident, and it was Jeoffrey controlling the horse.
But it's not like Jeoffrey would risk the guard who blocked the horse to be killed instead, so there's that. Still, that poor horse didn't do anything wrong at all.
Her intentions aren't as pure as solely just that. She's not doing it out of her maternal love per se, it's because she sees Joffrey/Jeffrey (??) as a pawn in order to gain the throne more or less.

Exactly!!! Because, Jeoffrey is not even the King's son... He's an heir to another kingdom. So it makes sense why she's doing all this, why she hates tormenting or neglecting Edward, because she knew who's throne is that suppose to go to.
