Like am I the only one who thinks this could be such a gem if it was done right, if Jiksar wasn't as crazy , hateful & if rat was truly able to shine brightly as he could well well... (︶︿︶) I wonder if authors don't take feedback while creating something I'm sure this could easily be 9.6 something worthwhile story if It was done right..

This is only the end of part 1 of the novels adapted. Part 2 of the novels answers all the questions, but idk if we're getting S2. Personal opinion: the original series was done very well, but it was bitter sweet so I was kind of sad by the end; even though part 2 added a lot of substance. It was not poorly written by any means.

sorry to but in but where did you read the novel? And you mentioned part 1 is bittersweet? Is this manhwa adapt part 1 of the novel? It seems a happy ending

SPOILERS!!!!ALSO NOT MINE In the novel, they don't really end up permanently together. Ray's body matures so he regains his former appearance, and he goes back and rules his own country. He even gets married and has children to ensure succession. He and Jiskar still meet, but it doesn't happen often and their meetings are brief. Ray was always meant to be a monarch, and he refused to give up his position and his country for Jiskar. They do love each other in their own twisted ways, but neither is willing to give up their titles and countries for each other.

The novel ending was far more realistic considering everything Ray has been through and his inherent personality. To the end he was never willing to submit to Jiskar's control.

oh my gawd thats really bittersweet esp as a manhwa reader only. But I think it makes sense knowing their dynamic as a couple and Ray’s main priority will always be in his homeland, though as long as they do love eo in their own twisted way so it’s fine, they do match eo freaks and well, strengths, so maybe they’ll be fine no matter what the situation the are in. I also think it’s only fair for Ray to also get married and have his own children to secure an heir since Jiskar was also married and has multiple children.

Thank you for all the info I really appreciate it
