I read the novel, and they really shortened it a lot. Mc was supposed to keep running away from ml before they decide to be together. And mc didn’t even get to meet ml friends yet. Or find out the ml kill that asshole
The artist already clarified this a long time ago. The author and the artist only agreed up to this season in the contract. The artist was okay with more seasons, but the author never reached out. So this is considered the ending. I also read the novel to this during covid and I remembered they were even married.
