The author died?
I think they mistyped and meant to say "artist" because they got the name right at the end. Artist Dubu who was the primary illustrator for Solo Leveling died in 2022.

I cant describe how im soo into this manga, rip to the author and thank u for giving us this master piece story..i cant count how many times ive cry reading this, i would say this is one of my favourite.. i watch anime but never ever read it the manga , im really happy i was able to read it and it was the best decision ive made.. this truly wonderful story.. thank u our dear artist dubu..
