It's probably from the stress and pressure of getting the rookie award. Plus they've been working for long days with not much rest.
Remember that if he doesn't fulfill the wishes of the members, he'll die <3. So, having to keep up with the needs, regrets and wishes of the members, work related stuff, keep his image, the pressure of giving your best to fulfill everything nonstop is pretty much valid to get sick badly. Especially when one wrong move can end things horribly for our boy that hasn't rested well in a while. And, I think he got sick because of the stress and also bc he didn't exactly fulfill the wish. I have a freling that when they reveal that MBS was bribed, the wish will be fullfilled so for now he has to deal with it :(
