A gay man continues to hit on a much younger straight man even after he is informed of their incompatible sexual orientation and his advances are unwelcome. This younger man is about to become a subordinate to that sexual harraser. We know how this is going to go. The creep is going to keep up the harrassment and leverage the age and power gap to coerce the victim.
And, because conversion therapy is romantic when gay people do it to people who aren't interested in them, we are going to see a straight person get "fixed" and turn gay to keep that disgusting piece of shit and a brain-dead audience, that wouldn't recognise hypocrisy even if it punched them in the face, happy.
I wonder if everyone who finds these plotlines cute and romantic where gay characters keep forcing their sexual attraction onto sexually incompatible people, disrespecting their sexualities, and eventually getting their way because that's what the author and their audience get off to, would react as pleasantly if the we changed gears to a straight woman turning a gay man straight for her or a straight man turning a gay woman straight for him. But we all know the answer, don't we. These guys would rain down hellfire on to whoever dared to write and those who chose to support such a plot. Yet, as long as their own fetish is getting served, who gives a shit about ethics and moral behaviour. The burden for upholding human rights and respecting people's choices is only for the other side, not for them, right.
