She was in love so she tried...

To be honest... She was probably my favorite character. Sincere, nice girl who was trying her hardest. She knew he liked someone else, but she did her best despite that. Hell, she was the first one to confess to anyone like props on that, girl, you deserve the best.

I find her nice as well. Very few females in BL manga receive good treatment from the author like that. Sure, he could have been bi, but I was referring to her words - "I thought because I'm a girl, I'll win." In Japanese culture, it's a strong, quiet belief that when it comes to getting into a relationship, it doesn't matter if they're LGBT, you can always try to "convert" them back to heterosexuality or at least favour you more. Because heterosexuality "wins". I was simply addressing that I liked her sincere attempts, and recognition over her own problematic mindset.
...She admitted that it's a terrible mindset to believe that just because you're female, you can win over a gay guy. "I thought because I'm a girl, I can win." and saw to her mistake. Because it's terribly annoying when you're dating someone and there's a girl/guy lingering nearby who believes they can turn you straight just by existing.
