Sameee I feel like ever since the last few chapters came out I became more confused

I think it's bc the maid's and the teacher's names are the same. But also bc there is just a lot of stuff that happened on the side and then it culminated into like the conclusion of the recent chapters? I thought that all of the other stuff on the side was just gonna be on the side but ig not
