That slap was warranted. MC was too insensitive. She deserved it, so she can actually realize what a fucked up thing she's done.

i get both sides. Female lead on her POV she was genuinely trying to help out a friend and make them shine more because they care for them. On her friends POV she probably wanted to accomplish that on her own. i didnt see it as jealousy rather being actually upset. either way i feel bad for the both of them i js think slapping was a bit excessive.
