Right!! I'm tired of FLs deciding they are going to run-away, but need one last glance at the MLs they are escaping from. Nah, that only gets you caught!! Like now.
This FL had time to not only cut her hair, dye it, and leave the area for good, all while the ML was fighting at war. She had no need to stick around for his welcome home parade. My sympathy meter = 0 (or at 0.1% since she doesn't deserve the I-found-you-rape-trope.)
If she really wants to run away from the prince, she should have done it while he was at war
