I honestly dislike when authors add a second ml just to bait readers… especially knowing the 2nd ml has no chance ugh.
It feels so frustrating when the 2ml is introduced just to stir up unnecessary drama, only to be sidelined with no real chance of winning the protagonist’s heart. It honestly feels like emotional manipulation from the authors behalf?? ESPECIALLY when the 2ml is written as a genuinely good person, sometimes even more likable or compatible than the main love interest v.v
Then there’s many of us who end up with second lead syndrome -sighs- ( ̄へ ̄)
