i absolutely agree. they have more chemistry (similar interests in money) and its his true self. Mc only likes isidore bc of his good looks, which is annoying, meanwhile isidore likes her bc he has seen her true self. it would be MUCH more meaningful if she pursues isidore as his masked+true version rather than his outside appearance version
When he is blond he is really boring and bland. But his character is more fun when he is brun
