Hayden's pheromones are super strong/potent. If you recall in the earlier chapters he severely injured an omega with his pheromones alone and sent him to a hospital. Brett vomiting is how he is reacting to Hayden's pheromones
^^^ it was said in the story his pheromones are stronger than average. It caused that bad event before and that’s why he always tried to contain it. Usually in omegaverse, alpha’s do not react well to other alpha’s pheromones. Two alpha’s together are basically fighting for dominance. In some stories, the pheromones from the same gender can make other alphas feel sick and intimidated. Which is why Brett has been throwing up, having nose bleeds and physical reactions from the very beginning. It physically hurts him as another alpha, but he’s into that lmao.
