He is still unlikable and not the norm even by realistic measures
But still he is quite common as a character

Unlikable for what reason did he do something bad to someone??? And this whole story is about him and his later character development that's what makes him intresting as a character and

He is pretty realistic to me cause mc personality is kinda similar to mine??? not everyone can be perfect and kind but we sure learn how to do or act to fit in

I wouldn't call him unlikable, but rather realistic. He is a selfish person who only cares about himself, but he still does good things to maintain a good image in the eyes of others.

Also he is very realistic indeed but I think he is portrayed in a way that deliberately puts him as too calculative, in reality little are this calculative especially a self centred one but they are indeed present
