Sharpe doesn’t follow his d*cks every whim? Other BL’s could really learn from that.
Also, unpopular opinion, I’m glad they didn’t have sex. I think it really is a good idea for them to wait, taking into consideration their past, but also AJ’s situation. It’s not like AJ slept will all those people because he genuinely wanted to. So, when he finally has someone he does actually trust and wants to get vulnerable/intimate with, it makes sense he doesn’t wanna rush it and needs time to let it sink in a bit. Also, idk why but Sharpe pulling the blanket from under AJ (when it was between them) so smoothly over them was impressive to me hahahah

I completely agree. Like, up until this point in the story, sex has been completely transactional, so it's gonna take him a while longer until he's comfortable seeing it as something more than that. He feels safe with Sharpe, but, based on his reaction from chapter 61, he's probably still in that transactional mindset. Or at least that what I think. But yeah. It's probably better for them to wait until everything with Warren is done and Sharpe figures the things with his work out, since they were telling him to get rid of AJ before.

I agree, though idk if they have to wait that long for it, but it’s definitely better to not jump straight into it. Take time until AJ is truly comfortable with it. I think why he was triggered was because Sharpe kinda saw it as potentially transactional and AJ felt hurt that he would think that way (like it’s the only reason he would sleep with someone). I think they definitely need more trust and understanding between each other to get into it. Also, probably would be good to meet each other a bit better as well. Like outside of who they were in the past and who they are in their jobs, them as individuals.
