it’s a slow burner you should actually give it a try,but from what i’ve seen in your reads it’s not your cup of tea, yes it’s bland but it’s a love story after all, it’s really wholesome and the plot goes nice basically

im pretty flexible with genes too, but it got to be interesting, and the comment were really hyping this up.

With the number of users slash readers, don't you think there will inevitably be different opinions? And if there is a majority, maybe these people like something that you may not notice whether it's in the plot, in the way the images work and/or the way the love is presented between the two characters. Like what do you expect from a love story ? Hatred and mental problems to associate with ?

thats exactly what led me to write this comment.
because of the overwhelming praise and lack of criticism, i assumed that would imply this work was superb, but that was not the case so i was surprised.
i dont enjoy toxic romance or anything like that, im just looking for well written interesting stories and this did not deliver, but i am very picky with what i read.

Maybe little mushroom or Sangyang:The Wanderer will be more to your taste it’s a lot more plot driven with romance subplot

those two already made it onto to my (relatively small) bl list, great picks tho, especially sangyang.

any genre? then let me recommend one of my favorites, golden kamuy.
perfect balance of action and comedy (and is unhinged at times) with compelling story telling in a historical fiction setting.
there is an anime too, but reading it is best.
