I think the thing that's confusing about this is that their communication seemed better when they were in high school... I understand Joon's trauma, and how he's afraid of expressing how he really feels to Doha because he might be ignored (which happened when he tried to ask him to stay with him longer for his birthday) but at what point do you just say something?????
I also feel like Doha isn't trying hard enough to understand Joon, and it feels like Joon keeps compromising and apologizing despite not really... doing anything wrong?? Lack of communication honestly makes sense for these two... the problem is how LONG it's been drawn out, like there really wasn't anything else they could've written about. Maybe sprinkled something else in other than weak side characters who don't feel fleshed out enough IDK.
