oooo I like this take on it, I just had a thought that maybe the princess she was fond of in another life was her mother, the Duchess Tekla, because if I remember correctly Anastasia says in an earlier chapter that her mother reminds her for the princess
if everyone is reincarnated from previous lives then is the queen the princess that anastasia mentioned she was reluctantly fond of in an earlier life? her siblings might be her friends from her first, and i could deffo see mikhail’s grandpa being a mentor from a previous life or something
