Totally get your perspective and those chapters are also a hard read for me but you still have to remember the fact that he genuinely got sick due to his possessiveness and it's not really something he could control back then although he later learned to control himself through communication and trust by talking it through with Euntak and later they even have a healthy relationship with boundaries

So I’m rereading this in its entirety again. And I still don’t like how Dojae stopped euntak from helping his friend because he suddenly got sick! I see what I keep stopping and restarting this story. I don’t mind jealousy and possessiveness but when it’s Dojae extent it’s a turn off especially when it starts impeding on friendships!
