It's not grooming if they grew up together. It's not like Kiel wanted Asha sexually as a child. It wasn't until he was an adult that he realized his obsession was love. He said so himself. And after that, when Asha joined the knights at 15, he got demoted shortly after. Besides all of this, Asha is not in a vulnerable state. Does he give more liberties to Kiel? Yes. But he also showed that he would give others those same liberties and not think twice about it. He's naive, but book smart. Kiel is probably going to have to threaten Asha to get him to say yes to marriage, though, and I think that is going to be sad to see. Asha will probably really upset and angry over it but give in because he has no choice. I just hope Kiel doesn't take his cousin coming back as an "excuse" to let his anger and possessiveness overun his saner judgment and take Asha by force. Not that he has ever been sane. . . Seems to run in the family.
