no, they're assigned a different section when they turn into third years. by Volume 2 of the novel, they settle more in the backdrop and are mentioned less and less. Although Junwoo's obsession is still alluded to from time to time, it is clear that Taesan is afraid of him. They never get together. The author intended to make a side story for them, but settles it in a q&a in postype that Taesan avoids Junwoo till adulthood, becomes a government official, and rides his bike to work. The flowers Junwoo previously gave him when they were in highschool become bookmarks flattened inside his books. We never know what becomes of Junwoo after.
