Rationalizing this as if they aren't both 100% bad for him is nuts. One might kill him but listens to him and tries to be nice. The other might kill him and rapes him on a bus and in front of the prison yard. There's no winning here.
I never liked the white haired one. He always gave me incel vibes. Jingyi isn't a great guy but he wouldn't be obsessive. White haired dude would rather kill you and have a part of you with him over you leaving him.
