Somewhat underwhelming

The ending seems a little anticlimactic and slightly rushed, especially compared the 130 chapters of build up we had. To defeat the big boss and have the happy ending all within 10-15 chapters seems out of proportion to rest of the story. I don’t have any real complaints regarding the ending itself, but it definitely throws off the entire balance of the story so far. If the creator couldn’t think of a better ending then fair enough, and I’m not saying all big boss fights need to be 30 chapters long, but i think we needed at least 15 chapters for the actual defeating of our villain, and then another 10 for rounding off the story, dotting the ‘i’s and crossing the ‘t’s, etc.

I wonder if the story got axed or if the creator was facing external pressures because it’s been an enjoyable and well-paced story the entire time. The acts felt to be around 40ish chapters long, with the story building a lot more by 80ish chapters, so I think the ending should have been more around 155-160 chapters.

It’s such a shame to have this sort of rushed ending for a story that managed to be rather unique despite it being filled with various tropes, with a refreshing main character and a surprisingly realistic take on love.

Hopefully we’ll have some sides…. T_T
