Yeah I get what you mean, it did feel a little rushed. Him healing right away like that felt kind of anti-climatic and the bloodbath thing is very tyrannical behavior. But the emperor always does have kind of that crazy look in his eyes, so while he's kind to a lot of people I wouldn't put it past him to be a tyrant given his upbringing and his curse driving him to the edge
Yeah, I agree that he healed way too quickly, especially with no explanation as to why. I wonder if the next arc will be addressing the aftermath
The bastard died too quickly… but at the same time I’m glad that this story doesn’t drag out plot points too long. Mixed feelings about the bloodbath though.., on the one hand Carlos and his people were justified after being hurt and humiliated like that… but the lack of a trial (even if it was a farce), bugs me a bit.
