I think I was able to understand the story properly, thanks. Did you know it's actually possible for someone who hasn't raised a child before to not know how to talk to children in a constructive manner? It's been what, 1-2 days? Allow her time to process what has happened. You can't not talk/avoid each other, and then start off a conversation with a negative.
He should know better than anyone that her giving up will only put her at a disadvantage/danger in the future, so it would be better for him to help her through this period with understanding, as that's what's best for her

Yeah probably, maybe I just expected too much because in every situation he always made the best decision. Will have to see the next chapter to know what he's thinking. Also np at all, it's a long one so it'll at the very least kill some time!
