Honestly, I can't tell, but I think at this point I'm damn near perfect at deciphering shitty translations, so it flows better in my head lol.
Yeah I’m pretty good at it too, but reading while also having to basically edit everything in the back of your mind simultaneously (especially when the translations start getting so weird that you basically have to mentally rewrite every piece of dialogue) kinda makes reading feel more mentally taxing than enjoyable for me.
I do a ton of editing in my day-to-day life, so I guess it just feels particularly tiresome for me when I have to do it for even for the activities that are supposed to be for my leisure. Like, stop making me use my brain when I’m trying to read my mindless smut!!! Lmao
I totally get that lol.
Is it just me or is the translation getting worse? It went from having a few mistakes which could be overlooked to being near incomprehensible…
