That experience must have so fucking scary I can't even imagine. 2nd other times when I see a story with a child involved it always feels like the child is just an extra that comes along and that the other person is not AS attached to it as their bio parent or guardian is but that was NOT the case with kaisei. That man loves that little girl. He protects her, misses her when she's away, wants to understand her and be understood by her and validates and respects her feelings. 3rd literally jiu: "I don't want to spring such an important desition on such a young child and I WANT to keep her with me but it's better to take things slowly and build a proper relationship" LITERALLY THE DAD THAT SAME FUCKING DAY: "You wanna come live with me?" (proceeds to lose her in a mall right away) THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDN'T GET THE CHILD
