actually crying over this shit rn bc like it's so different that these characters who i spent the past hour binge reading are suddenly unfamiliar. like,,, not shitting on the new artstyle, but i also just think the new artstyle isn't as fluid as the old one when it came to fighting scenes or angled ones, so it also just looks awkward, too. and the spear king looks SO different i actually didn't recognize him at first.
same the art style is not bad but the previous mc was more handsome & a change in art style affects the flow & smoothness
the change in artstyle is SO unsettling, esp since MC honestly gets the brunt of the changes. the new artstyle isn't bad or anything, it's just that the old artstyle suited the characters so well, and is honestly a part of how i see the characters that it's messing up my flow LOL. like the way they draw the hair is so different, it's crazy. i also think the OG artstyle is a bit more uncommon/stylistic and distinct, so it's a shame to see it gone. and the fact that wonkong doesn't look the same makes me so sad, cuz he's my favorite LOL
