I was just thinking the same thing. With Minjae looking so scared in that last panel, it’s hard to know what to think.
No,I don’t think that’s what happened. I think the President abused both Jungwoo and Minjae. Jungwoo tried to comfort him by telling him to just forget and that no one should know. Jungwoo doesn’t want anyone to find out that the President was abusing them. I suspect Hyuk (middle child) doesn’t know of any and resents how Minjae acts out and treats the older brother, Jungwoo without understanding nor caring why he is acting that way.
erm i’m gonna be honest but personally to me the flashback chapters seem to insinuate that jungwoo put his hands on minjae. it’s not uncommon for victims of childhood sexual abuse to do the same to other people in their lives. that kind of trauma during your formative years skews your ideas of normal and acceptable behavior. honestly i could be completely wrong and just reading too far into it. we’ll have to see as the plot progresses.
