I think they're not fan of slow burn story. I read many danmei Chinese novel with 100 chapters and the kiss scene or xxx is in the end of the chp. Others even in extra chapt hahaha. I'm used to this so yeah
frr they haven't experienced the pure bliss (and lowkey a bit of torture) on slow burns when it comes witnessing a progress on the couple after 56 chapters
