i think past kudou was a bit endearing, he was an inexperienced kouhai with a cute smile. and seems easy to handle by old kujirai definitely got him wrapped around her fingers.
meanwhile the current experienced but sus kudou doesn't seem good for naive kujirai without a past.
tbh it's a bit difficult to see kujirai as a proper adult because she didn't have many memory. and overall she feels like a teenager sorry. youmei's youthfulness suit her tho.
