I think he cared about his tutor and was pissed that his brother was dragging the girl in between their mess because the brother thought ml likes the tutor. Imo
I personally think he loved her. If he didn’t he wouldn’t have cut off his family and beat him up just cuz he cared about some girl. Definitely a first love thing and the brother realized that and used it.
No, I think I agree with @hero . The tutor was not just 'some girl'. She was a diligent girl who was kind and patient and the ml who at first thought it's sm dumb thing parents were doing, truly started appreciating her. And immediately understood that the asshole brother was just using her. (Tho kinda confused how the girl cudve fallen for it, and also why she forgave him after he explained all the bs + that wud mean he never even liked her?? Still married his ass despite the reveal?)
