I don't think he is angry at home as in blames him but rather because he didn't get the reaction he was looking for as in yea you're right, become my partner and we kick that moron's ass.

While I don't quite get why exactly Agiro directs his anger at Ewan, I do get him being angry and frustrated. He KNOWS Ewan didn't have a say, he KNOWS how powerless Ewan is until now. Maybe it's because Agiro himself feels a little powerless.
It's quite sad actually because I have the feeling that Agiro would've treated Ewan really well, if they had been paired up from the beginning.
And now it's all going to shiz because he wants him but can't completely have him in the sense of being his partner.
