Not quite remembering a past life in return. To break the spell her soul needed to be in another dimension hence why she was in Korea. And after the curse fully ended she return but forgot her memories before she went to korea
She's just forgotten who she is, but in return recalled a past life. She was much more cowardly before, but still a badass when it counted.
