Very true in some aspects like background characters saying it’s disappointing Haesol is dating Yeonwoo when she deserves better..like Yeonwoo is a good person and has a great personality but I think it’s just his looks and confidence that npcs find unfulfilling which is pretty sad-.- plus they don’t even know Haesol very well, like how she doesn’t take the best care of herself but I digress ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Yeah it's so annoying!! And it's only because of gender norms, not because Yeonwoo has something wrong! They don't think Yeonwoo fits being with a girl, especially not one cool like Haesol, because he looks like one, which is exactly what Yeonwoo's insecurity has always been. And he'd be damned even if he got with a guy because, that's probably what those people would expect but would still condemn him for being gay and because the other guy could rather be with a girl. I CAN SEE THEM BEING ANNOYING EITHER WAY
So you guys hear me out on this. Like ik some people r gonna take it the wrong way and dislike this reply but I kinda role my eyes when the side characters glaze Haesol. WAIT A SECOND, like Haesol and Yeonwoo's relationship is so precious and the both are great characters...but so many of the other characters put down yeonwoo or underestimate him just to talk about how great Haesol is and how Yeonwoo will never be good enough for haesol but as long as haesol is happy it's okay. And I understand this behavior if yeonwoo was objectively a bad person, but he i sweet and even good looking but the other keep putting him down. But that's not haesol, haesol is humble and even if no one else does, SHE gives Yeonwoo his flowers which is so nice...but that' what annoys me about the side characters like haesol's purple hair friend
