I thought I was crazy the translation is so bad that I give up, I’m dropping this.
You’re not crazy. I thought I was having a stroke. Things would kind of make sense then become nonsense so seamlessly. It’s so bad. I can’t tell if the story is bad or if I’m just missing crucial context.
I suspect there is too little novel and the artist tried to improvise too much, but then the novel ended up contradicting the chapters before and they just went with it... how can the FL's appearance be completely different all 3 times she's been mentioned otherwise? If she was mentioned but not described in the novel I guess it would make sense?
I re-read from the beginning since it’s been a while and *phew*. I don’t normally complain about poor translations, but I feel like I’m misunderstanding A LOT of crucial dialog that’s making the actions and motivations of the characters unclear. The FL falling and the commanders not helping her, then getting in trouble….wtf was going on? The FL is weirdly compliant and no one seems bright, but the jumbled MTL’d dialog isn’t helping that. If you’re going to use MTL, do a little editing please.
