If they can all play, I don’t think there’s such thing as an NPC anymore. Just people who haven’t become players. Seems like the right route too because it opens up the possibility for Doha and Bada to have their happy ending outside the game.
Up to the recent chapters there’s no guarantee they can all play.

The confirmed players was 4 (Doha Bada Yongteak and glasses
the remaining 2 can be NPC or mastermind
And we still didn’t know much about the cassette, like is it match with all of them from the start or can change ownership.
Maybe they are mix of real people (that actually have body outside the game) and NPC from the start and they have to compete for the body outside the game.
Or maybe they are all real.

Anyway so the key of the entire plot now is
1. What happened to the previous progression of the game? they almost completed the map and then suddenly everyone lost memory except the glasses guy.
2. What are they actually? - why are they in the game from the start. All of them, who is NPC who’s not.
3. How are they gonna finished the game.
The key is the glasses guy and Bada, glasses guy was the only one who remembered everything and then scheme something ALONE before Doha get his tape off. And Bada’s memory is blurry like he knew something but someone erased his memory.
And to gain information from the glasses guy I think his tape should be played again. Either they find a new cassette player or ejec someone cassette off and replace it with his.
The game itself is not that hard to understand, they have killer and all of them need to find evidence but what make this game hard is someone try to stop and reset the progression. There’s JUDAS in the team.
