I wonder in the last scene of ch 43, the reason Minjae thinks about Jungwoo's words when he comforts Taeyoung, i Wonder in that moment, he remembered those words ("I forgot everything.
you will be able to forget too.") because maybe he thought "Jungwoo might be right. He should forget the past and give up on revenge and be happy with Taeyoung so Taeyoung wont suffer like this". My theory is thats the reason Minjae remembered that memory. He wanted to give up on revenge for that one little moment. For Taeyoung. Because he started to care about him more than his revenge plan and he is slowly healing.

this is such a good analysis!! i actually thought the opposite--jungwoo, as a bystander to minjae's abuse (even though he himself was also a victim), only opted to comfort him by making him "forget" instead of actively stopping it. even in the present, minjae reflects on this event by realizing that this was not a form a genuine comfort, but a way to discourage minjae from outing the president for hyuk's sake, not his (again, by forgetting). i think the reason minjae suddenly remembered this is because he was tempted to comfort taeyoung in the same manner--by telling him to forget it ever happened and move on. but minjae understands that this type of comfort wouldn't really be meant for taeyoung, but minjae himself (as in "forget the inner turmoil you're feeling and continue to let me use you"). in the end, minjae decides to comfort him silently, because taeyoung didn't offer him any words when he embraced him from behind either (after the field trip). his hug was enough because it was genuine. so minjae inwardly hoped that his actions were enough too. this is just what i thought!!
Guess im one of the few who doesn't hate the older brother ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Hes had to learn how to survive, and I dont believe our Mc genuinely hates either one of the brothers, DEEPLY inside he feels sympathy for the older one and frustration at the other brother for not noticing anything while being surrounded by victims... But Mc is not willing to pop his bubble, that would be too easy, its better when they find out by themselves... A little machiavellianism is necesarry in all this... The only true villain was the pedo father... Everyone else is just surviving and dancing to the tunes...
