No. The is furious at himself and at the treatment that his wife has endured. He calls himself an hypocrite because he compares himself to the people that abused his wife, he thinks that he is making his wife perform like they did to her. He is raging. He is a good person put in a very bad situation and he thinks that he is responsible for continuing the abuse of his wife.
