I’m too invested in the ML’s escape, so I’ve been skimming through raws and reading comments while I hope, despite the odds being against me with these types of webtoons, that the ML will either kill MC or kill himself. I need the trash MC to realize that he’s so vile, the ML couldn’t breathe the same air as him anymore.
Oooooooo I totally get what you mean. I mean let's be frank none of us actually enjoy reading these type of toxic shit. More or less waiting for the aspect of how the MC will save themselves or have revenge. But I've read a little to too many similar tropes where the MC and ML have always ended up together, very unsatisfying and hopeless way of course. I think the only one that had the most satisfying ending was "god of pain's groom".

Ugh, thanks for letting me know. I really wish we have more authors who normalized a tragic ending with these kinds of scums. Or a happy ending for the ML and just straight murder to the abuser. It’s sad, how hard it is to find those type. I think I’ve only seen one that way.
For me, it’s about degrees. This MC is at the top of the vile least. I never fully read their stories; I just stick around, hoping they’ll die. Then everything else varies depending on the way the authors approached the characters and significant other. Will check the one you mentioned.
