I swear their worst than Oprah with this shit. I can’t deny that everyone in this story has some sort of twisted mentality but did anyone else rape and abuse somebody, no. Not even the ML when he also endured his far share of hardships.
Err i don't really think this side story has the intention of excusing behavior. Im pretty sure the audience should know how their weird relationship that kicked off the story came to be and the psyche of the dominant personality is unexplored rn. This author does not excuse rape and quite literally has an entire story (ouroboros) about how horrible rape is. Like yes I agree authors be excusing shit all the time with sad back stories but unless this author switches up on me I do not think this is the case.
afaik there's a side story on the main couple as well. also i agree with ^ the author's not excusing his behavior, just tying up loose ends.
Authors with rapists: YOU GET A STORY! YOU GET A STORY! YOU GET A STORY! and it's okay because I'm going to give you a sad childhood so everyone ignores what you did...(ರ_ರ) I just want more from the main couple man...
